In the endorsement letter dated October 11th 2016, the Corporation pledged its support, and urged corporate organisations and individuals to lend their support to the pageant for its successful delivery.

“Having gone through the proposal and seen that your project is geared towards advancing the rights of the Nigerian Girl-Child education and also grooming our youth to have knowledge and value for our rich cultural heritage, the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation is pleased to endorse and support your initiative in this regard…

“We encourage corporate organisations and individuals to lend their support towards the successful execution of this project”, the letter signed by the Director General of the Corporation Dr (Mrs) Sally Uwechue-Mbanefo and Mrs Rae-Omoh, Director Hospitality and Travel Trade, stated.

Earlier the Akwa Ibom State Government through the State’s Tourism Development Board had endorsed The Face of Nigeria, asking well-meaning Nigerians and corporate organisations to support the pageant.
